Introduction to Fashion Illustration 4-week course

A$525.00

The one where you learn all the principles of fashion illustration, how to apply colour and shade with marker pens, how to draw faces, and how to use watercolour paints beautifully.

This 4-week in-person course covers all the key principles and fundamentals of fashion illustration – What is it? Are there rules? How do I get that figure down on paper simply and easily with sass? What is the S-curve and how do I draw a walking catwalk figure?

We then learn how to bring the sketches to life with vibrant colour, including how to use marker pens to create artful fashion images. We sort out all those phobias about drawing faces with a dedicated session, and finish with watercolour techniques for fashion illustration.

Every week the process of how to begin and finish an illustration will reiterated so students leave the course confident to continue their artwork practice.

This course suits absolute beginners (even if you deeply believe you can’t draw), or those with experience who want to refresh or check their techniques with plenty of hands-on feedback.
