About your teacher
After a successful career in fashion designing for some of Australia’s favourite brands, Angie Réhe decided to turn her side hustle into her full time focus. Since then she has worked with a stellar line up of names including Prada, Dior, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Vogue Japan, Vogue Australia, Harpers Bazaar, Elle magazine worldwide, and many more.
A passion for teaching born long ago, Angie is a fully qualified teacher - in addition to her BA in Fashion Design, she holds a Diploma in Education and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. “Seeing the joy that I can give to someone through teaching them to draw and discovering their creative self is the most satisfying feeling I’ve had in my entire career.”
Angie currently balances her freelance business with University lecturing in fashion design and illustration (traditional and digital), and is the go-to Fashion Illustration workshop facilitator for the NGV National Gallery of Victoria, the Bendigo Art Gallery, and Heide Museum of Modern Art. She regularly travels abroad to strengthen her ties with international illustrators and educational institutions.
The fashion illustration classes are held in person in Melbourne, with live online classes, and fully online classes are in the works for release in late 2025.
