The Adobe Photoshop program can seem daunting if you have no familiarity with it. Even if you use other Adobe programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop works in a completely different image format, so it can be very difficult to find your way around without help. The ability to output artworks digitally – even fully hand-created artworks – is essential today, whether for professional or personal use, and the inability to do this yourself is a huge disadvantage.

This one-day in-person workshop introduces you to the Photoshop workspace and the tools and functions most useful for fashion illustration. We will apply these skills to render a hand-drawn sketch into a beautiful and vibrant colour image featuring patterns and effects. The skills covered will be able to be applied to any other digital and hybrid illustrations.

This workshop has been created for complete beginners and will be an excellent base from which to continue using and integrating the Photoshop program into your art practice.
